Balance of quality and speed
The iPF9400S is designed for the production, poster, display graphics and in-house print market. It offers the ultimate balance of quality and speed. Print quality is assured with incredible 2,400 x 1,200 dpi resolution and the 8-colour LUCIA pigment ink system, which provides a wide colour gamut, smooth gradation, deep dark tones, sharp blacks with reduced bronzing. This is balanced with high-speed printing and a resulting good quality output.
The printer’s high-capacity ink tanks, which can be changed during print runs, aid productivity, while economy print mode reduces ink consumption.
Easy to use
A large, bright and easy to read LCD screen makes the iPF9400S easy to operate. And a range of plug-ins for Macs and PCs simplifies common tasks, such as manipulating, adjusting and proofing images, optimising their quality and adding borders. What’s more, it’s easy to set up workflows that automate many of these processes.
Maximum productivity, minimum downtime
The iPF9400S has a built-in 250GB hard disk, which enables highly efficient printing, easier re-print jobs, while handling large amounts of data effortlessly. It can print A0 Fast (Economy) prints in just over one minute and its “hot swap” 330ml or 700ml ink tanks mean that ink cartridges can be replaced without interrupting printing for maximum productivity.
Effective cost management
It’s easy to track the cost of each job using the iPF9400S’s built-in cost management software, which allows users to calculate ROI.
Added value and versatility
Added value software is provided as standard for a range of applications and can be complemented by third-party RIP solutions, which support production, photography and proofing applications and enhance the printer’s connectivity and capability.
