We partner with the world’s leading photojournalism programmes, where important stories and those responsible for telling them are brought together and celebrated – our aim to shape and inspire the photojournalists of tomorrow.
Canon has been supporting Visa pour l’image, one of the world’s leading photojournalism festivals, for over 30 years. We provide week-long training courses for media students across Europe, to help them tell stories that cover everything from conflict and nature to people and the environment.
Canon has been supporting World Press Photo for 26 years. For 25 of those years, we have sponsored the Joop Swart Masterclass to identify talented visual storytellers. We also provide opportunities for one-year ambassadorships for those who can tell the strongest stories to effect change.
