CPS+ Events 2016


Prize Draw, Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the prize draw to win tickets to the CPS+ Event(s) taking place in 2016 (“Prize Draw as described below. These Terms shall apply between Canon(UK) Ltd. of Woodhatch, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 8BF (“Canon”) and You, the entrant of the Competition (“You”). By submitting your entry to participate in this Prize Draw, You agree that You have read, understood and accepted these Terms. 


1.1 This Prize Draw is open to Canon CPS members. Employees of Canon and their immediate families, the agencies or anyone professionally connected with this draw, as well as Canon Masters, Canon Ambassadors and Canon Explorers are not eligible to participate. 
1.2 The Prize Draw is open for entries between 21st September and 28th September 2016. 
1.3 To enter the Prize Draw you must complete the online form. Entries must be submitted within the entry period shown in 1.2 above.  Entries outside of this period will not be accepted for entry to the Prize Draw. 
1.4 Canon cannot be held responsible for any entries not received due to technical problems. 
1.5 Canon reserves the right to disqualify any individual which, at its sole discretion, it believes has tampered with the entry process or who has breached any terms of this Prize Draw. 


2.1 Winners will be selected via a random number generator from all of the entries received and each winner will receive a confirmation email which will give them details of the event. No tickets will be distributed. 
2.2 Winners will be selected between 28th September and 30th September 2016. 
2.3 Winners will be sent an email confirming their place. 
2.4 In order to redeem their prize, Winners must reply to the confirmation email or their ticket will be reallocated. A date for this reply to be received will be on the confirmation email and must be adhered to.


3.1 There are 4 events happening throughout October and November 2016. The prize is a place at one CPS+ Event for the winner and one guest. 
3.2 Absolutely no cash or other prize alternatives are available in whole or in part. 
3.3 Prize winners are responsible for any obligations related to their winning of any Prize as may be applicable including their travel to and from the Event. 


4.1.    Canon (UK) Ltd. is the Data Controller for the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (“DPA”) in respect of any personal data supplied by Participants. Any personal information supplied by entrants will be used and processed by Canon (UK) Limited, its agents or associated group companies solely for the purpose of administering the promotion, and for marketing purposes where Participants have opted-in to receive marketing communications from Canon. 
4.2 Entrants can unsubscribe from Canon marketing communications at any point by selecting the “Unsubscribe” link which features in the header and/or footer of all such emails. 
4.3    The personal data provided is held securely and may be transferred on a secure server outside the EEA. 


5.1    These terms and conditions and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. 


6.1. Canon shall not be liable for any failure to meet these Terms of Competition where such failure is caused by any supervening circumstances amounting to force majeure. Such circumstances shall include, but shall not be limited, to severe weather conditions, fire, flood, war, earthquake, riots, industrial dispute, terrorism, acts of god, or such events that impact supply of any product to be awarded as a Prize or, events that, without fault of either party, render performance impossible or incapable of satisfactory execution. 
6.2. By entering into the Competition, You agree to release and hold Canon harmless from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Competition or receipt or use of any Prize.
