The PAGB Photography Show 2017 Competition – Terms & Conditions
Prize Draw for a confirmed seat at the Canon Live Stage on Saturday 18th March PLUS a complimentary ticket to the Show
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the competition to win a ticket to The Photography Show 2017 (“Competition”) and a pass for a place on the Canon live stage all day on Saturday 18th March as described below.
These Terms shall apply between Canon (UK) Ltd. of Woodhatch, Reigate, Surrey, RH2 8BF (“Canon”) and You, the entrant of the Competition (“You”).
By submitting Your entry to participate in this Competition, You agree that You have read, understood and accepted these Terms.
1. COMPETITION ENTRY
1.1 This Competition is open to all residents of United Kingdom, aged 18 years or over. Employees of Canon and their immediate families, the agencies or anyone professionally connected with this Competition, as well as Canon Masters, Canon Ambassadors and Canon Explorers are not eligible to participate.
1.2 The competition is open for entries between 1st February 2017 and 27th February 2017 inclusive.
1.3 To enter the Competition you must complete the online form. Entries must be submitted within the entry period shown in 1.2 above. Entries outside of this period will not be accepted for entry to the Competition.
1.4 Canon cannot be held responsible for any entries not received due to technical problems.
1.5 Canon reserves the right to disqualify any individual which, at its sole discretion, it believes has tampered with the entry process or who has breached any terms of this Competition.
2. WINNER SELECTION
2.1 Fifteen (15) tickets are available to win* – the winners will be selected via a random number generator from all of the entries received and each winner will receive one ticket.
*Includes complimentary ticket for the Show and Pass for the Canon Live Stage on 18th May 2017
2.2 Winners will be selected on 27th February 2017and will be informed via e-mail by Wednesday 1st March. Winners must confirm acceptance of the prize by e-mail by Friday 3rd March or the tickets will be reallocated on March 4th 2017.
2.3 Winners will be sent their tickets via Royal Mail post.
3.1 All winners will receive a ticket to attend one day of The Photography Show (“the Event”) which takes place from Saturday 18th to Tuesday 21st 2017 March at the NEC in Birmingham (The Event entry ticket).
3.2 Winners will also be issued a separate pass giving them the option to use their Event entry ticket together with the pass to have access to the Canon Live Stage that will take place at the Photography Show on Saturday 18th March only.
3.3 if you choose to use your Event entry ticket to attend on a day other than on the 18th March, you will not be able to access the Canon Live Stage unless you buy a separate entry ticket to the gain access to the Event on the 18th March.
3.4 Absolutely no cash or other prize alternatives are available in whole or in part.
3.5 Prize winners are responsible for any obligations related to their winning of any Prize as may be applicable including their travel to and from the Show.
4. DATA & PRIVACY
4.1. Canon (UK) Ltd. is the Data Controller for the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (“DPA”) in respect of any personal data supplied by Participants. Any personal information supplied by entrants will be used and processed by Canon (UK) Limited, its agents or associated group companies solely for the purpose of administering the promotion, and for marketing purposes where Participants have opted-in to receive marketing communications from Canon.
4.3 The personal data provided is held securely and may be transferred on a secure server outside the EEA.
4.4 Entrants can unsubscribe from Canon marketing communications at any point by selecting the “Unsubscribe” link which features in the header and/or footer of all such emails.
5. LAW AND JURISDICTION
5.1 These terms and conditions and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
6.1. Canon shall not be liable for any failure to meet these Terms of Competition where such failure is caused by any supervening circumstances amounting to force majeure. Such circumstances shall include, but shall not be limited, to severe weather conditions, fire, flood, war, earthquake, riots, industrial dispute, terrorism, acts of god, cancellation and/or suspension of the Event or such events that impact supply of any product to be awarded as a Prize or, events that, without fault of either party, render performance impossible or incapable of satisfactory execution.

6.2. By entering into the Competition, You agree to release and hold Canon harmless from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Competition or receipt or use of any Prize.
