³ Although the lens features dust- and water-resistant construction, this cannot completely prevent dust or water droplets from entering the lens. Lenses with dust/moisture resistance are fitted with a rubber ring on the lens mount which may cause slight abrasion of the camera mount. This in no way effects either the lens or camera performance.
⁴ Lens Dust Cap RF is scheduled to be replaced with Lens Dust Cap RF II between June 2026 and December 2027.
* For cameras with an APS-C sized sensor, a crop factor applies giving an equivalent focal length of 1.6x – this means that the 20-50mm on an APS-C camera will give the field of view equivalent to a 32-80mm lens on a Full Frame camera. Check camera user manual for further details.
