This compact and lightweight 24mm lens combines a wide-angle field-of-view with a fast aperture for shooting creatively, even in low light. A 5-stops Optical Image Stabilizer¹ allows longer shutter speeds for hand-held shooting and slick video with more stabilisation (6.5-stops) on offer when used with an EOS R series camera featuring an In Body Image Stabilizer. A minimum focusing distance of 14 cm (0.5x magnification or half life-size) is a real advantage for creative wide-angle and lets you get extra close, showing your subject within its environment. A customisable Control Ring and a separate Focus Ring allows fine control of focusing, ISO, aperture or changing AF method.
