The Story behind the Shot

Across the four-day event, a programme of educational and inspirational talks will take place on Canon’s Spotlight Stage – delivered by renowned photographers including Canon Ambassador Sanjay Jogia who will be demonstrating live wedding photography covering posing, lighting and composition together with how to create mood and atmosphere; portrait and fashion photographer Dan Kennedy; and photographer and ballet dancer Tyrone Singleton. Discussions will cover the world of sports, wildlife, fashion photography, documentary, and cinematography.

For visitors looking for practical tips, Canon will also be hosting a packed programme of bitesize talks covering basic to advanced camera setup and large format gallery photo printing. A full list of the speaker lineup can be found here.

Recycling initiative

Canon’s cartridge recycling programme provides visitors with a free, easy and environmentally responsible way to recycle. Simply bring your empty Canon cartridges to the show and Canon ensure each element of every returned cartridge is reused or recycled.

The Power of Print

What’s more, visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the ‘My Image Garden’ – a woodland themed image garden where they can learn more about creating beautiful fine art prints with its imagePROGRAF printers.
