FAQ: How do I change the volume of the RX Done Tone on my laserfax L380?

Follow this procedure to change the volume of the RX Done tone (Adjusts the volume of the done tone sounded when the machine has finished receiving faxes.):

  1. Press [Menu].
  2. Press the "Left" or "Right" arrow key until "Common Settings" is shown on the display.
  3. Press [OK].
  4. Press the "Left" or "Right" arrow key until "Volume Control" is shown on the display.
  5. Press [OK].
  6. Press the "Left" or "Right" arrow key until "RX Done Tone" is shown on the display.
  7. Press [OK].
  8. If you like the tone "ON" press [OK]. Next press the "Left" or "Right" arrow key to choose the desired volume level from setings 1, 2 or 3.
    If you like the tone "OFF" press the "Left" or "Right" arrow until "OFF" is shown on the display.
    If you like to hear the tone only when an error occurs, press the "Left" or "Right" arrow key until "Error Only" is shown on the display. Next press [OK] and then press the "Left" or "Right" arrow key to choose the desired volume level from settings 1, 2 or 3.
  9. Press [OK].
  10. Press [Stop/Reset] to return to standby mode.
