Depending on the condition of the product, parts are replaced and adjusted to the factory standard, various functions are inspected based on the evaluation criteria of the Canon Europe's official repair centre. A refurbished product may show signs of previous use.
Our refurbished products are Canon Europe certified products which were previously used and have undergone a rigorous process and thorough testing at Canon Europe's official repair centre. These have been professionally inspected, refurbished, cleaned and restored to meet original performance standards. All refurbished products sold by the Canon Store are covered by our 2-year EWS warranty, the same as all new products.
The shutter count of each refurbished camera cannot be guaranteed. Based on the evaluation criteria of Canon Europe’s official repair centre, refurbished products have parts replaced and adjusted to the factory standard, various functions are inspected to ensure they meet the specifications of a new product.
Our refurbished products come from a variety of sources. These range from customer returns to loan equipment used for shoots. These products are returned to Canon, which enables us to inspect, refurbish, clean and test them before re-selling.
A wide range of refurbished cameras and lenses are available from the Canon Store. Supply is limited, however the newly refurbished products are added regularly. We recommend checking back periodically to see which refurbished products are available.
