Both peripheral resolution and uniformity of brightness are significantly enhanced, resulting in sharp, bright images, from the centre to the corners.An excellent MTF profile over the entire image plane, minimisation of chromatic aberrations, and maximisation of contrast support help provide stunning imagery, whilst a maximum aperture of f/1.8 makes this lens eminently suited to low-light applications such as ENG work.A variety of optical and mechanical innovations including proprietary lens coatings, substantially reduce flare, glare, and internal reflection. Minimisation of ghosting and other chromatic distortions caused by strong light sources further extend the operational contrast range.

An Easy mode makes navigation of frequently used menu functions more straightforward, whilst System mode supports lens adjustment between projects.
