1. PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS, PARTICIPATING RETAILERS, PROMOTIONAL PERIOD AND PARTICIPANTS

1.1. This promotion is only available on purchases made of any of the products listed below (the “Promotional Products”) at The Photography and Video Show 2022, NEC, Birmingham in the UK (the “Photography Show 2022”) from one of our listed participating retailers exhibiting and having a stand at the Photography Show 2022 (see list below - “Participating Retailers”) between 10.00 Saturday 17th September 2022 and 17.30 Tuesday 20th September 2022 inclusive (the “Promotional Period”). All other products and retailers are excluded. Some Promotional Products may be sold as part of a bundle but only ONE claim can be made per kit or bundle. If a kit includes two Promotional Products, the Participant will need to pick one product against which to make a claim. Purchases must be genuine purchases for cash or its equivalent.

1.2. All Participants must be aged 18 or over and must be resident in the UK or ROI (“Participant”).

1.3. All Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1.4. All Promotional Products must be new and genuine Canon Products. Purchases of second hand, refurbished or reconditioned products, or products which are counterfeit or infringe the intellectual property rights of the Canon group of companies in any way (for example, including but not limited to parallel or “grey” products) will not qualify under this promotion. 2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

2.1. To enter the cashback promotion, the Participant must purchase a Promotional Product, purchased at The Photography Show 2022, from a Participating Retailer during the Promotional Period AND submit a valid claim online between 10.00 on Saturday 17th September 2022 and 23.59 on Tuesday 18th October 2022.

2.2. Claims must be submitted by fully and correctly completing (including specifying a valid European product serial number) a claim form online, at www.canon.co.uk/TPS-cashback Participants will need to scan, upload and attach to the online claim form a copy of their receipt. Participants will then receive an email confirming that their claim has been received. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of processing your claim, or do not have access to a computer, please contact our Claim Hotline on 0800 044 3251.

2.3. The Promotional Products are subject to availability while stocks last. Canon will not be liable for the failure of retailers to fulfill orders of Promotional Products during the Promotional Period.

2.4. Canon will not process any claims received after the closing date for receipt of claims of 23.59 on Tuesday 18th October 2022. Canon will not process claims which are in its opinion incomplete or illegible. Canon will not be responsible for claims delayed or not successfully received.

2.5. Only one claim per Promotional Product purchased during the Promotional Period may be made.

2.6. Claims by businesses or individuals who make bulk purchases (being more than 3 Promotional Products during the Promotional Period other than where the relevant products are comprised in kits or bundles as described in clause 1.1) will not be eligible to enter this Promotion.

2.7. This promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other promotion.

3. CASHBACK

3.1. Participants will receive Cashback in the amounts shown for purchases of Promotional Products.

3.2. Upon receipt and verification of the claim, Canon will arrange for a direct BACS transfer payment to the Participant’s bank account. No alternative arrangement will be entered into and no cash or cheque will be provided.

3.3. Canon will endeavor to transfer via BACS within 4-6 weeks of receipt of a complete and valid claim.

3.4. Only one BACS payment will be issued per valid claim.

3.5. If you are UK VAT or ROI VAT registered and you receive a cashback, it may reduce the taxable value of your purchase and so you may need to reduce your input tax accordingly.

5. DISCLAIMERS

5.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon’s employees or agents.

5.2. In exceptional circumstances, Canon may void, amend, and/or change this promotion at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever provided that such changes are necessary and can be justified by objective reasons.

5.3. Canon reserves the right to audit any claims to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions and to request additional information and supporting documents. Canon reserves the right to exclude claims and/or Participants if it suspects that the promotion is being abused in any way. Canon’s decisions in relation to the promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5.4. If any part of these conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, then such part shall be severed from the remainder of these conditions, which shall continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. DATA

6.1. Canon (UK) Ltd is the Data Controller in respect of any personal data supplied by Participants. Any personal data submitted to Canon (UK) Limited will be processed by (a) Canon (UK) Ltd and its third party supplier Benamic Ltd, IDA Business and Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, Ireland, for the purpose of administering this Promotion, and, if applicable (b) by Canon (UK) Limited and its associated companies for marketing purposes- in cases where Participants have opted-in to receive marketing communication from Canon. 6.2. If Participants do not wish for their contact information to be used for marketing purposes or to enable Canon to contact them in future regarding similar promotions, they should NOT check the relevant “opt-in” box when completing the claim form.

7. LAW AND JURISDICTION

As You are a participating consumer, laws of your country of residence will apply to this Promotion, and You may be entitled to bring court proceedings in your own language and in your local courts. A local consumer advice organization will be able to advise you on your rights. These Terms do not restrict any statutory rights that may be applicable.
