LONDON, UK, 19th November 2025 – Today, Canon expands its document scanner portfolio with the addition of the DR-C350 and DR-C340 models - two new ultra-compact, versatile A4 Desktop scanners, designed to improve productivity while maximising workspace efficiency.
Canon launches two new compact and versatile document scanners to support diverse work environments
Many businesses are working in more diverse ways and environments and need compact devices which fit into these varied spaces. The DR-C350 and DR-C340 enable users to efficiently scan a range of documents, wherever they may be working.
Fit for any space
The DR-C350 and DR-C340 feature a market-leading width of 283mm –– our narrowest scanners to date. Their compact, modern design is ideal for a range of environments, from retail counters and reception areas to home offices.
Flexibility for all scanning workflows
The new devices enable fast and flexible scanning, wherever work happens. Key upgrades to the input and output trays and document feeding system allow users to scan a wide range of documents, including IDs and passports. This means important documents can be fed straight into the devices without the need for a protective carrier sheet.
For businesses that require quick document capturing during customer onboarding, such as banks, insurance companies, retailers and government institutions, staff can scan proof of identification and, address information together with application documents in front of the customer, helping to streamline the process and build trust.
Refit and reuse
The new DR-C350 and DR-C340 have been designed with sustainability in mind, it is built with over 10% recycled plastics and uses replaceable parts to support waste reduction. The devices also deliver a 17% reduction in energy consumption on previous models and have EPEAT Gold certification, further supporting businesses to meet sustainability goals and comply with changing regulations.
