Responding to falling print volumes and shrinking profit margins, Norwegian company LO Media wanted to transform itself from a commercial printer to a total communications firm. As well as producing personalised, multi-channel communications, the company needed to meet the security needs of its core customers in the political field.
We developed a versatile cross-media communications platform by combining LO Media’s web-to-print service with EFI DirectSmile Cross Media Suite. As part of this package, we also set up the training and ongoing business support needed to unlock the new system’s full potential.
LO Media now takes a multi-channel approach to communications – choosing the media that will be most effective for each customer or project. This new model helped the company to win new long-term contracts worth over €100,000 a year, while strengthening its print division.
