Free JOBY Gorillapod Tripod 2023 Promotion
Terms & Conditions

1. PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS, PARTICIPATING RETAILERS, PROMOTIONAL PERIOD AND PARTICIPANTS
1.1. This promotion of a free JOBY Gorillapod Tripod 325 (“Tripod”) is only available on purchases made of the Canon V10 PowerShot kits listed below in Schedule 1 (the “Promotional Products”) within the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (“UK”) or Republic of Ireland (“ROI”) from one of our listed participating retailers in the UK or ROI as applicable (see list below in Schedule 2 - “Participating Retailers”) between 00.00 BST Friday 15th September 2023 and 23:59 GMT Wednesday 31st January 2024 inclusive (the “Promotional Period”). All other products and retailers are excluded. Purchases must be genuine purchases for cash or its equivalent.
1.2. All Participants must be:
1.2.1. aged 18 or over;
1.2.2. must be resident in the UK or ROI
(“Participant”).
1.3. By submitting a claim for a Tripod (“Tripod Claim”) against the purchase of a Promotional Product, Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1.4. All Promotional Products purchased must be new and genuine Canon Products. Purchases of second hand, refurbished or reconditioned products, or products which are counterfeit or infringe the intellectual property rights of the Canon group of companies in any way (for example, including but not limited to parallel or “grey” products) will not qualify under this promotion. 2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
2.1. To enter the Tripod promotion, the Participant must purchase a Promotional Product from a Participating Retailer during the Promotional Period AND submit a valid Tripod Claim online between 00.00 BST on Friday 15th September 2023 and 23:59 GMT on Friday 1st March 2024.
2.2. Tripod Claims must be submitted by fully and correctly completing (including specifying a valid European product serial number) a claim form online, at https://canon-uk-ie-powershot-v10-gift-2023.sales-promotions.com/en_gb/?country_promotion=2 for a Promotional Product purchased within the UK during the Promotional Period or https://canon-uk-ie-powershot-v10-gift-2023.sales-promotions.com/?country_promotion=1 for a Promotional Product purchased within the ROI during the Promotional Period.
2.3. Participants must scan, upload and attach to the online Tripod Claim form a copy of their receipt, or order confirmation for internet purchases.
2.4. Participants will receive an email confirmation of their Tripod Claim submission. If Participant does not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of submitting a Tripod Claim, Participant should contact the Claims Hotline on 0800 044 3251.
2.5. The Promotional Products and Tripods are subject to availability while stocks last. Canon will not be liable for any failure of retailers or its administrative partner Benamic to fulfill orders of Promotional Products and/or Tripods during the Promotional Period.
2.6. Canon will not process any Tripod Claims:
(i) received after 23:59 on Friday 1st March 2024; or
(ii) which are in its sole opinion incomplete or illegible.
2.7. Canon will not be responsible for Tripod Claims delayed or not successfully received.

3. TRIPOD CLAIMS
3.1. Participants will receive One (1) Joby Tripod 325 per purchase of a Promotional Product. Only four claims per Promotional Product purchased may be made.
3.2. Upon receipt, verification, and validation of a Tripod Claim for a Promotional Product during the Promotional Period (each a “Claim”), Canon will arrange for a Tripod to be sent out to the address registered on the form. No alternative arrangement will be entered into, and no cash or cheque will be provided.
3.3. Canon will endeavor to fulfill each Tripod Claim within 4-6 weeks of receipt of a Tripod Claim.
3.4. Claims by businesses or individuals who make bulk purchases (being more than 4 Promotional Products during the Promotional Period will not be eligible to enter this Promotion
3.5. This promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other promotion EXCEPT where another Canon promotion during the Promotional Period expressly states in its terms and conditions that it may be redeemed in conjunction with this promotion.

4. THE PROMOTER
4.1. The promoter is Canon (UK) Ltd, company number 01264300 with its registered office address at 4 Roundwood Avenue, Stockley Park, Uxbridge UB11 1AF (“Promoter”).

5. DISCLAIMERS
5.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon’s employees or agents.
5.2. In exceptional circumstances, Canon may void, amend, and/or change this promotion at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever provided that such changes are necessary and can be justified by objective reasons.
5.3. Canon reserves the right to audit any claims to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions and to request additional information and supporting documents. Canon reserves the right to exclude claims and/or Participants if it suspects that the promotion is being abused in any way. Canon’s decisions in relation to the promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5.4. If any part of these conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, then such part shall be severed from the remainder of these conditions, which shall continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. DATA
6.1. Canon (UK) Ltd is the Data Controller in respect of any personal data supplied by Participants. Any personal data submitted to Canon (UK) Limited will be processed by (a) Canon (UK) Ltd and its third party supplier Benamic Ltd, IDA Business and Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, Ireland, for the purpose of administering this Promotion, and, if applicable (b) by Canon (UK) Limited and its associated companies for marketing purposes, in cases where Participants have opted-in to receive marketing communication from Canon. 6.2. If Participants do not wish for their contact information to be used for marketing purposes or to enable Canon to contact them in future regarding similar promotions, they should NOT check the relevant “opt-in” box when completing the claim form.

7. LAW AND JURISDICTION
As You are a participating consumer, laws of your country of residence will apply to this Promotion, and You may be entitled to bring court proceedings in your own language and in your local courts. A local consumer advice organization will be able to advise you on your rights. These Terms do not restrict any statutory rights that may be applicable.
