The anniversary marks one of Canon’s longest and most successful partnerships in the UK, with AG Group being a sole Canon reseller throughout its 40-year history. The organisation was set up in 1982 by current Managing Director Jeff Parkin, with the aim to deliver outstanding technology solutions to organisations within the local area.
Today, AG Group has grown to be one of the largest resellers in West and South Yorkshire specialising in the leasing and procurement of printers, copiers, Multi-Function Devices (MFPs) and software. The business prides itself on its unique relationship with Canon, and the cutting-edge technology that the partnership has allowed it to bring to its customers.
Throughout its forty years of operations, AG Group has seen a huge evolution in its technology offering – and today its portfolio includes the imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX, iSENSYS X and imagePRESS ranges. The partner also provides expertise to customers around Canon’s cloud-based products such as uniFLOW Online, an award-winning print and scan management platform.
Managing Director Jeff Parkin is now joined at the helm by stakeholders Andrew Crowder and Alex Parkin, who have helped the business to further grow and thrive. Whilst the organisation now services customers across the UK, its local approach is still very much at its heart. Recently the team has been working closely with customers in the Yorkshire area to support with the shift to hybrid ways of working, ensuring that organisations have the right supporting technology in place to allow them to operate effectively.
The business is also part of Canon’s Partner Programme, a scheme created to provide Canon’s resellers with the tools they require to meet today’s customer needs and to grow. As a Silver Partner, AG Group has access to market insight, business planning resources, exclusive events, marketing and sales support, and incentive programmes – all delivered through Canon’s Partner Portal. Canon also works closely with AG Group to identify shared goals and provide dedicated account support.

AG Group celebrated the Anniversary, and the hard work and dedication of the team, with a day at Cheltenham Races on Friday 18th March - with further celebrations taking place this week at its head office in Sheffield.
