London, UK – 16th September 2025 – Canon UK & Ireland is pleased to announce its successful appointment across all four lots of the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) RM6361 Framework. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Canon’s ongoing commitment to delivering secure, sustainable and innovative print and document management solutions to the UK public sector.
The CCS RM6361 Framework is the UK’s largest public sector framework for Print, Managed Print Services and Document Solutions. Effective from 15th September 2025 and running for a four-year term, the framework enables public sector organisations to access Canon’s full portfolio of products and services across its Digital Printing & Solutions (DP&S) business incorporating Workspace Solutions, Production Print and Outsourced Services. This comprehensive offering allows Canon to deliver end-to-end solutions that support digital transformation and align with broader strategic objectives across government departments and agencies. Canon’s uninterrupted presence on this framework for over 25 years underscores its reputation for reliability, quality and leadership in the sector.
Crown Commercial Service (CCS) plays a vital role in helping the public sector achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2023-2024, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £4.9 billion, supporting world-class public services and delivering best value for taxpayers.
Canon’s appointment spans all four lots of the framework. Lot 1 includes seven mono and seven colour multifunctional devices (MFDs) with uniFLOW Online software, for which Canon is the preferred supplier via direct sales and a 24/7 e-Commerce platform. Lot 2 provides access to a full catalogue of MFDs, advanced software, and consumables from DP&S, Large Format Printers, Production Print, and CBS. Lot 3 offers the same scope as Lot 2, delivered as a managed service with cost-per-page pricing. Canon has also supported Key Partners to obtain positions on Lot 2 and Lot 3. Lot 4 supplies hardware compatible with the GovPrint Cloud Service (Cirros), supporting the Government Property Agency’s goal to standardise public sector printing infrastructure.
Among the key enhancements introduced in RM6361 is Canon’s new commercial model model, aimed at streamlining procurement and improving operational efficiency for public sector organisations. Among the updates is a simplified approach to contracting that supports greater cost predictability and ease of management.
