London, United Kingdom, 1 October 2026 - Since its inception in 2008, the Canon EMEA Ambassador programme has grown into one of the most influential industry initiatives. The programme brings together some of the world’s best photographers and videographers from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to collaborate with Canon and to share their knowledge and passion for visual storytelling.
Canon welcomes 25 new creatives to its EMEA Ambassador programme
In 2026, Canon is welcoming 25 new Ambassadors into the programme. Canon Ambassadors are selected through a rigorous, multi-stage process. Candidates are nominated by Canon offices across EMEA and assessed by an independent panel of 16 experts from across the photography and filmmaking industry. The panel considers the strength and impact of each candidate’s work, creative voice, values, innovation and contribution to the wider imaging community before putting forward its final recommendations.

Joining the Programme in 2026 in the UK are Jack Lodge, Rebecca Carpenter and Rowan Johnson. Landscape and nature photography are Jack's two main passions, encompassing the entire creative journey, from planning and time in the field to processing and the final print. Based in the south-west of England, he’s a professional photographer, educator and speaker, capturing landscapes and wildlife through a love of light, atmosphere and the ever-changing seasons.
Rebecca is an award-winning UK-based destination wedding photographer with nine years' experience worldwide. Known for capturing emotive and joyful imagery with an editorial eye, she’s also a passionate educator, creating content on YouTube and mentoring photographers individually and in groups.
Rowan is the managing director of Southpoint Films, a video production company based in Southampton. His work covers the spectrum of videography, multicam and live production. From high-impact marketing films to complex live events, Rowan bridges the gap between creative vision and technical execution.
