THE PODCAST SHOW 2026 – FREE PRIZE DRAW / SOCIAL COMPETITION
This prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, Participants agree to release Instagram from any liability in connection with this promotion and acknowledge that an information they provide is supplied to Canon and not to Instagram.
1. PROMOTER AND PARTICIPANTS
1.1. This free prize draw competition is run by Canon (UK) Limited of 4 Roundwood Avenue, Stockley Park, Uxbridge UB11 1AF (“Canon”).
1.2. All entrants (“Participants”) must be Instagram users resident in the UK aged 18 or over.
1.3. Employees of Canon, its subsidiary companies, their families, agents and other parties directly involved with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
1.4. By entering this prize draw competition, all Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions unless notified otherwise in writing.
2. PRIZE DRAW AND HOW TO PARTICIPATE
2.1. To enter into the free prize draw for a chance to win one (1) bundle comprising three (3) Canon EOS R50 V Mirrorless Cameras and three (3) RF-S 14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ Lenses (together the “Prize”), during the period from 08:00 on 20 May 2026 to 18:00 on 21 May 2026 (the “Entry Period”), Participants must:
2.2. The free prize draw will run during the Entry Period and will close at 18:00 on 21 May 2026 (the “Closing Date”), with the draw taking place on or after 1 June 2026.
2.3. No purchase necessary.
2.4. Only one entry per person is permitted.
2.5. Entry is only open to individuals physically attending The Podcast Show 2026.
2.6. By entering, Participants grant Canon a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish and display their entry content for promotional and marketing purposes.
2.7. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be eligible for entry into this free prize draw. Canon reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, invalid, inappropriate or illegible entries.
3. THE PRIZE
3.1. One (1) winner will be randomly drawn from all valid entries received throughout the Entry Period.
3.2. The winner will receive the Prize as listed in clause 2.1 above.
3.3. The Prize is non-transferable and no cash or credit alternatives will be substituted for the prize on offer. In the event that the prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, Canon reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
3.4. The total approximate retail value of the Prize is £ 2,879.
3.5. The winner is responsible for any applicable taxes associated with the Prize (if any).
4. THE SELECTION
4.1. Using a verifiable random number generator, the winner will be selected from all eligible entries and the winner’s name confirmed by Canon.
4.2. Canon will contact the winner by direct messaging via Instagram as soon as practicable after 1 June 2026 in order to obtain delivery details for the Prize.
4.3. If Canon receives any rejected or unclaimed prize from the winner within 7 days of the first attempt to make contact by direct messaging, the original announced winner will forfeit their prize.
4.4. The Prize may be awarded to an alternative eligible Participant selected in accordance with these Terms.
4.5. The Prize will be delivered by courier in a single shipment to a UK address provided by the winner within 28 days of notification of win.
4.6. Risk in the Prize shall pass to the winner upon delivery.
4.7. The Prize is as stated when published.
4.8. The Prize is provided to the winner of the free prize draw in good faith by Canon. If a winner is unable to accept the Prize for any reason, then Canon must be notified as soon as possible.
4.9. The surname and county of the winner will be made available upon request to anyone who writes to Canon within one month after the Closing Date of the promotion.
5. PERSONAL DATA
5.1. Any personal data submitted to Canon will be processed by Canon and its agents or associated group companies and third party suppliers for the purpose of administering this free prize draw. Canon is the Data Controller in respect of such personal data.
5.2. Participants may be contacted by Canon for the purposes of administrating the free prize draw or in the event that Canon wishes to discuss any other use of the information submitted to the free prize draw.
5.3. The personal data provided is held securely and may be transferred on a secure server outside the UK to countries providing appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

6. DISCLAIMER
6.1. In exceptional circumstances, Canon may void the Prize and/or change other promotional conditions provided that such changes are necessary and can be justified by objective reasons.
6.2. Canon reserves the right to refuse to honour any entry or to recover the full value of any Prize if it reasonably considers that there has been an abuse or breach of the terms and conditions of this free prize draw.
6.3. Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these Terms shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
6.4. In the event of a dispute over interpretation or implementation of the rules on any matter related to the free prize draw, the decision of the Directors of Canon is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6.5. If any part of these conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, then such part shall be severed from the remainder of these conditions, which shall continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
7. LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
