The Canon Service Centre offers a wide range of services and repairs across the Canon product range. This includes Digital Compact Cameras, DSLR’s, EF and L Series Lenses, Video, Pro Video/DSLR, Speedlites, Binoculars and Projectors.
If you have any questions which do not relate directly to a repair at the Canon Service Centre, please visit our Support website for helpful information.
If you have sent your products to the Canon Service Centre via a retailer, please contact the retailer directly with any enquiries.
Please note, we do not repair Office Products (Scanners, Printers, Faxes etc) at the Canon Service Centre in Elstree. For Office Products, please find your nearest Authorised Service Facility.
Faster Turnaround Time
Introducing a new Faster Turnaround Time service of 3 working days for non-CPS members only, exclusive to the Canon Service Centre.Eligible Products

A £45 charge will be added to the overall repair cost total at the end of the repair. Please note this service is not guaranteed. We will endeavour to meet the Faster Turnaround Time, however if we are unable to do so, the £45 charge will not apply.
Please be aware that the turnaround time does not include:
- The day the item is received.
- Time in shipment.
- Time taken to accept / decline an estimate or repair cost (customers whose items are not covered by a Fixed Price Repair charge are advised to provide us with a repair limit to prevent delays).
- Time spent awaiting any customer information necessary to complete the repair (e.g. missing documentation).
This service is not available for products damaged by impact or liquid contamination, and is subject to spare part availability.
The Faster Turnaround Time Service can only be requested at the time you advise us to go-ahead with the repair – it cannot be requested at a later date.
Sensor Clean Services
The turnaround time for a Sensor Clean is an average of 10 days.
£30.00 - 1.3x/1.6x sensors
£50.00 – All full frame sensors
Costs include return postage and VAT.
The EOS Cinema range is not applicable to the following services.
Same Day Sensor Clean
If you require a Same Day Sensor Clean please contact us to book an appointment. On the day of the appointment, please bring your camera to the Canon Service Centre in the morning, to allow for end of day completion.
Express 1 Hour Sensor Clean
Bring your digital SLR to our Canon UK Service Centre reception between 8:30 and 15:00 for an Express 1 Hour Sensor Clean and receive it back within the hour.
A maximum of two bodies are allowed per customer.

Our Sensor Clean Services are subject to technician availability.
We use a courier service to return your items to you. Our dispatch cut off time is 3:30pm, therefore if payment for your repair is taken after this time, your item will be dispatched the next working day. Once your unit is dispatched you will receive a tracking number via email.
Arrange a Collection
We can arrange a UPS collection from a UK or Ireland address to the Canon Service Centre for an additional charge:
Product RRP up to £771.00.00: £10.00
Product RRP up to £5,999.00: £40.00
Maximum weight allowance: 20KG).
Urgent Same Day Delivery
Urgent Same Day Delivery can be arranged on request. The cost is calculated based on the package weight and delivery address. As a guide, the average cost to deliver an item that weighs 0-5kg to an address within a 50 mile radius of the Canon Service Centre is £47.58 (cut-off times apply).

How long will it take for me to receive my product after repair?
UK - Next working day delivery to most areas*
Ireland – 2 working days*
* Excludes weekends and bank holidays.
For other destinations, please contact us quoting your repair order number.
What happens if my parcel is lost or damaged whilst in transit back to me?
On the rare occasion that your item is lost or damaged during transit back to you, please contact us as soon as possible.
How should I package my item when I send it to you for repair?
We recommend that your product is safely and securely packaged, to protect it during transit. Depending on the value of the product, you may also wish to consider insuring the shipment.
